Protein interaction and cell responses with various surface charge of supported lipid bilayers as a biomimetic platform |
초록 |
The supported lipid bilayer (SLB) is a lipid bilayer system which mimic biological membranes and widely used as a model for fundamental studies of the cellular membrane and membrane protein as well as for developing bio-sensors. The SLB induced different surface charge affect on protein adsorption or repelling property and in vitro cell-interactive response. Among various SLB substrate, the zwitterionic phosphocholine surface exhibit unique property than other types of SLB system. The surfaces coated with zwitterionic groups are highly resistant to nonspecific protein adsorption, while do not interrupt cell attachment and response. This work provides interesting result related with the surface charge and composition induced SLB-cell response, using FTIR, ELS, QCM-D, confocal microscope, and inverted optical microscope. |
