제목 | Synthesis and Characterization of Organosoluble Light-Colored Fluorinated Polyimides. |
초록 | A fluorinated diamine, mBATB was prepared through the nucleophilic substitution by catalytic reduction with H2 gas and Pd/C. A series of Polyimides were synthesized from the diamine with various aromatic dianhydrides via thermal imidization. Substituents of trifluoromethyl groups on the aromatic rings of metalinked aromatic ether diamine conferred the polymer prepared with enhanced solubility, low-moisture absorption, and low dielectric constants. The polyimides also exhibited exceptional thermal stability, good mechanical properties, and excellent hygrothermal resistance. For these polyimides, the residual stress was observed by Thin Film Stress Analyzer (TFSA). The major factor in determining the magnitude of the stress behavior might be induced by the morphological factors such as chain rigidity, chain orientation, and crystallinity. Their morphlogical stuctures and optical properties were examined by wide angle X-ray diffraction and a prism coupler respectively, and the mechanical properties were measured using a dynamic mechanical thermal analyzer (DMTA). These outstanding combined features ensure the polymers are desirable candidate materials for advanced microelectronics applications, specially, an overlayer in TFT-LCD and optical waveguide.
