Toughening of polysulfone powder modified epoxy resin CFRP composites with morphology spectrum |
초록 |
Epoxy was modified by addition of polysulfone(PSf) powder and the fracture toughness(GIC) of carbon fiber reinforced composite(CFRP) was evaluated. The epoxy resin was cured with the diaminodiphenylsulfone(DDS). The fracture toughness was tested with the double cantilever beam(DCB) and tested by the instron. GIC of polysulfone powder modified epoxy resin CFRP composite was increased with increase of the amounts of added PSf and GIC of 20 wt% PSf added sample was 2.2 times higher than the unmodified epoxy resin CFRP composite. In the morphology of PSf powder modified epoxy resin composite, the co-continuous and nodular morphology spectrum was found out and such morphology spectrum can be contrubuted to increase of composite toughness. |
