TiO2-SiO2 system anti-reflection(AR) film was prepared to decrease reflectance on plastic substrates. In this study, AR coating films prepared by the sol-gel process were reviewed. The experiments were carried out as fellow, 1) preparation & hydrolysis of TiO2-SiO2 system sols, 2) plastic substrates dipping, 3) drying. By developing sols with different refractive indices, multi-layer thin film AR coating stacks were designed and fabricated. We investigated the refractive index and reflectance in the visible region. The refractive index and thickness of the coating were measured by spectroscopic ellipsometry. The optical performance was characterized by UV-VIS spectrophotometer. |
