Silver-coated silica for antibacterial activities in water |
| 초록 |
Silica is first modified with 3-Aminopropyl trimethoxysilane to graft amino functional group onto its surface. Then, silver ion is loaded onto surface of modified silica by formation of complex with amino group and finally silver particle is formed by reduction under different temperatures. The presence of silver particles as well as structure of material is confirmed by SEM, FTIR, XRD. Result of antibacterial effective tests shows that more than 99% of bacteria is inhibited after 10 min contacting with material. |
