Electron beam (EB) curing, a non-thermal curing precess, is a novel manufacturing process that offers many advantages over conventional thermal curing, such as reduced environmental and health concerns, shorter cure times, and lower temperatures. In this work, DGEBA epoxy with benzylquinoxalinium hexafluoroanti-monate (BQH) were cured using an EB technique. The influence of EB dose on cure behaviors and mechanical properties was investigated. The resins were cured in steps of 50 kGy to a total dose of 200 kGy. The cure behavior was monitored TGA. Also, the critical stress intensity factor test of the cured specimens was obtained to study the mechanical interfacial properties. |
