제목 | Purification of syrup by cooling crystallization and effect of seeding. |
초록 | High purity crystals can be obtained by crystallization of syrup with an organic solvent. In the case of cooling crystallization, This is to use the solubility according to the temperature difference. The crystals obtained from the cooling crystallization determine the purity and shape and distribution according to the supersaturation. The supersaturation is a function of crystal growth rate and nucleation rate, and temperature profile and cooling rate, solvent and seed are the main variables. In this study, Experiments were conducted according to the influence of seed in cooling crystallization. The effect of Seed size and amount was investigated. The saturation temperature was 50°C, And the saturated solution was used at an initial concentration of 1.15g/g and an organic solvent ratio of 86wt%. The best results were obtained when the amount of seed was 3wt% and the seed size was 23~35um. A crystal growth rate of 0.0021~0.003um/s, and a recovery rate of 84 to 88.3wt%. |
