제목 Synthesis and Optoelectronic Properties of Host Materials for Phosphorescent Organic Light Emitting Diodes According to the Position of Substitution
초록 In this study, three host materials based on Pyrido[2,3-b]indole and Dibenzothiophene were investigated to obtain high triplet energy and hole transport properties for phosphorescent organic light emitting diodes. The materials have a donor-acceptor structure that pyrido[2,3-b]indole acts as an electron-withdrawing unit and dibenzothiophene acts as an electron-donating unit. Those were synthesized according to the position of substitution, ortho, meta, and para.  
The chemical structures were performed by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR. Also, the electrochemical properties were estimated from UV-vis spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry(CV), and photoluminescence(PL). PHOLEDs were fabricated by doping iridium (III) bis[(5-cyano-4-fluorophenyl)pyridinato-N,C2']picolinate (FCNIrpic) to the host materials and the device performances such as Luminance, EQE, and Current efficiency were measured by using IVL measurement.
