Mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSN) have are an extremely effective solid support for drug delivery and their surface can be easily functionalized. In this study, we prepared mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSN) containing doxorubicin (Dox) and perfluorocarbon (PFC) for thermo-tirggered drug release. The MSN were incorporated into liposomes. The size of the MSN and MSN-liposomes were 20 nm and 217.5 nm, respectively. The porous sturcture and shape of the MSN and MSN-liposomes were observed and confirmed through transmission electron microscopy. In the drug release study, Dox release from the MSN-liposomes increased at 37°C compared with the release at 25°C. These results suggest that the MSN-liposomes have ability as a thermo-resposive drug delivery system. Acknowledgements: Basic Science Research Program (NRF-2015R1C1A1A02036746). |
