제목 Oxidation of Hydroxymethyl-EDOT by Hypervalent Iodine Reagent
초록 EDOT(3,4-Ethylenedioxy Thiophene) is one of popular source of conducting polymer. EDOT is also well known as a good electron doner. Therefore many researchers interested in conjugate EDOT on other functional polymer and bio molecules. Recently, solid-supported IBX reagents have been studied extensively due to such advantages as an easy work up, high oxidative properties and simple isolation procedure. We use polymer-supported IBX reagent to oxidize hydroxymethyl groups of EDOT to aldehyde group in mild condition. Then we confirm hydroxymethyl-EDOT converse to EDOT-Aldehyde in high yield.
