We fabricated high-mobility polymer nanofiber transistors using high-work-function polymeric electrodes. To achieve good electrical contact between organic semiconductor nanofiber and electrodes, we employed the conducting polymer as the source-drain electrodes which can be formed by using selective wetting. Then, we printed highly-aligned semiconducting polymer nanofibers by using an electrohydrodynamic nozzle printer to complete bottom-contact and bottom-gate polymer nanofiber transistors. As a result, we achieved remarkably improved field-effect mobility compared with conventional Au electrodes and conventional conducting polymers (PEDOT:PSS). We discuss the bias-stress stability of the nanowire FETs using our polymeric electrodes. |
