제목 | PVDF based piezoelectric energy harvesters with conjugated polymer:PCBM blend systems |
초록 | With recent advances in low-powered system, the demand of portable electronics such as smart phones, tablets and body sensors that are commonly used in our daily lives has been increased. For electric power supply to these devices, piezoelectric energy harvesting technology converting mechanical energy to electrical energy has been spotlighted. Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) is a good piezoelectric material which showed the best piezoelectric property in organic ones. However, it has low piezoelectric coefficients relatively compared to ceramic materials, which has a limit to show high output power. In this study, blend systems using two types of polythiophene derivatives with PCBM were introduced to piezoelectric nanogenerators. At the same strain, these nanogenerators showed higher energy conversion efficiency than PVDF only device. The polythiophene derivatives were characterized by 1H-NMR, GPC, XRD and etc. All devices were measured by a home-made tester for stretching process. |
