제목 Effect of Side Chain Positions for Donor Acceptor Type Organic Photovoltaics
초록 The use of isoindigo(iI) as a new acceptor in conjugated systems taking advantage of the D-A approach for OPVs. Isoindigo has strong electron-withdrawing character due to its two lactam rings. Their broad absorption spectra, high extinction coefficients, and appropriate energy levels inspired us to modify their chemical structures and explore their PV performance further.
In this study, we present the synthesis and detailed characterization of semiconductors which are prepared from the combination of the isoindigo unit with thiophene moieties. The synthesized polymers are showed different optical, electrochemical and photovoltaic properties. Structure-property relationships caused by a difference of side chain position have been observed.
