제목 | IMPROVED EFFICIENCY OF CdS-PbS QUANTUM DOT-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELLS THROUGH CdS INTERLAYER |
초록 | Quantum dot-sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs) have recently studied due to their promising low-cost alternative to existing photovoltaic technologies. Because their optical band gaps can be easily tuned by varying their sizes, due to quantum confinement effects, and they have much higher extinction coefficients than conventional dyes due to the existence of multiple levels. But surface defect states exist at the interface of the quantum dot (QD) and TiO2. One promising way to reduce the recombination rate through the surface traps is to make the coreshell consist of PbS and interlayer CdS. Hot injection method of the CdS-PbS QDs on the TiO2 followed by linking mechanism. The effects of CdS thin layer on PbS quantum dot-sensitized TiO2 will be presented. |
