제목 Removal of heavy metal ions on nitrogen-doped mesoporous carbon with magnetic property
초록 The nitrogen-doped mesoporous carbons with magnetic property were synthesized by colloidal templating-mediated vapor deposition polymerization. Especially, ferric (Fe3+) ions on the surface of silica nanoparticles allowed the formation of magnetic phase as well as polymerization of vaporized pyrrole, carbon precursor. Furthermore, nitrogen-doped characteristic was introduced into mesoporous carbon during carbonization at the proper temperature. The as-prepared nitrogen-doped mesoporous carbon with magnetic property exhibited the superior removal performance toward heavy metal ions (mercury, lead, silver ions) due to doped nitrogen active sites. Additionally, magnetic phase also provided magnetically separable adsorbents for heavy metal ions and consequent reusable adsorbents.
