Phosphorescent transition-metal complexes have attracted much attention, since they can harvest both singlet and triplet excitons to realize highly efficient organic light-emitting diodes. Ir(Ⅲ) complexes are particularly important and have been studied. Here, new iridium complexes containing carbazole and trifluoro derivatives were prepared. The ligands were prepared according to Suzuki coupling reaction. New iridium complex is containing with carbazole and halogen substituted phenylpyridine. In this study, we report the synthesis, thermophysical, photophysical properties of new green emitting heteroleptic Ir(Ⅲ) complexes. - This research was supported by a grant from the Fundamental R&D Program for Core Technology of Materials funded by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, Republic of Korea |
