제목 MOF derived graphene-based N-doped mesoporous carbon for high performance supercapacitor applications
초록 Recently, graphene-based nitrogen-doped carbon (GNC) draws considerable attention because of their exceptional electronic properties. Carbonization of metal-organic framework (MOF) synthesized on graphene oxide (GO) is the preferred route to synthesize GNC. However, due to the presence of different types of functional groups and the tendency of GO to aggregate, the derived MOF does not cover GO uniformly. As a result, the GNC does not show isotropic properties. To eliminate this problem, here I first synthesized mesoporous silica on GO which was then covered with polydopamine over which MOF was formed. Carbonization of this product resulted in the desired GNC. SEM and TEM micrographs revealed uniform morphology of the GNC. GNC possesses high specific surface area up to 1752 m2 g-1 and mesoporous structure. It contained ~8 at% nitrogen. Electrochemical measurements exhibited high specific capacitance of 170 F g-1, as well as excellent rate performance and cyclic stability.
