제목 Study on foam with well-dispersed ethyl cellulose colloidal solution
초록 Foam is important in many engineering fields and there is much research on stability, interaction, and structural relationships. We have studied to improve the foam performance such as stability and generation with organic nanoparticles. Hence, organic nanoparticle colloids which composed of ethyl cellulose were prepared to evaluation for foam. The ethyl cellulose colloidal solutions were prepared by anti-solvent precipitation method. The size of particles was controlled at 100 ~ 650 nm. 10 wt.% of this colloid was added to various concentrations of surfactant solution and also, the amount of addition of colloid was changed. The colloid with larger particle size showed the higher stability of foam at high concentration of surfactant solution, otherwise at low concentration, the surfactant solution with medium particle size indicated the highest foam stability and generation.
