제목 Low Band Gap Photoactive Materials for Solution Processable Organic Solar Cells
초록 In recent years, the power conversion efficiency of organic solar cells (OPVs) has rapidly improved, with conversion efficiency exceeding 10%. Efforts toward achieving high-performance OPVs using a bulk heterojunction mixture have focused on the development of efficient semiconducting organic materials as photoactive electron donors. The preparation of high-performance OPVs requires the design of organic materials with high absorption coefficient and broad absorption spectra over the solar spectrum, a high hole mobility, suitable energy level matching with the electron acceptor, and improved miscibility of the organic material blends to form a bicontinuous interpenetrating network on the nanoscale. In order to control the decisive parameters in OPVs, information between material design at the molecular level and its photovoltaic performance in organic solar cell is a crucial factor. In this talk, various conjugated oligomers and polymers which developed in our group will be presented.
