제목 | Characterization of High Frequency Weldable LLDPE /MAH-g-PE /PA6 Ternary Blends |
초록 | High frequency (HF) welding of polymer is clean, controllable, quick and needs little warm-up time. HF weldable resins are polar material which have high dielectric constant. But they have some disadvantage such as high cost and environmental problems. Linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) has been widely used in film applications. But it is well-known nonpolar polymer and hence not used for HF welding process. To provide polarity with LLDPE, polyamide 6 (PA6) was added to LLDPE through melt blend. Furthermore, to increase the miscibility between LLDPE with PA 6, maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene (MAH-g-PE) was used as a compatibilizer. Dielectric constant at the same composition(LLDPE/PA6 = 70/30) of the blends increased with increasing the compatibilizer contents due to the polarity of MAH. HF weldability of the blend was evaluated by T-peel test. |
