Effect of preparation method on structure and activity of Cu-based catalyst in hydrogenolysis of glycerol |
초록 |
Hydrogenolysis of glycerol to propylene glycol was performed using various copper-based catalysts as copper-zinc, copper-chrome. Two types of catalysts were prepared using different synthesis methods: co-precipitaion and microwave. The physicochemical properties of the catalysts were studied by X-ray diffraction(XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), BET surface area. The conversion of glycerol with selectivity toward propylene glycol and yield in product was obtained by gas chromatography(GC) measurement. |
