제목 mRNA Isolation Based on Microbeads and Visual Detection of Escherichia coli (E.coli) Through Formation of Beads Aggregation by Rolling Circle Amplification (RCA)
초록  Food contaminated by bacteria(E.coli), causes food poisoning, which occur many patients worldwide annually. To sensitive detection of E.coli, we have introduced a novel application of rolling circle amplification(RCA) and developed a new diagnostic platform composed of capillary tube and microbeads. We also have performed mRNA isolation of E. coli as well as detect target gene by using microbeads. When mRNA of E.coli is extracted on surface of microbeads, amplification of DNA template can be achieved and can be visualized by beads aggregation in capillary tube. This assay is possible to detect visually target gene without specific equipment. It is likely to development of genetic kit for point of care testing(POCT) that can simultaneously perform mRNA isolation and target gene detection using microbeads.
