제목 | Adsorption Equilibrium And Breakthrough Dynamics For N2O Recovery From The Adipic Acid Process |
초록 | Recently, the non-CO2 greenhouse gases (GHGs) reduction becomes an important issue for the prevention of global warming. The global warming potential (GWP) of nitrous oxide (N2O) is almost 300 times greater than GWP of carbon dioxide. A large amount of N2O is emitted from the effluent gas of adipic acid production. The recovered N2O can be applied to many industrial applications. Especially, high-purity N2O (99.999%) can be used for chemical vapor deposition process in semiconductor industry. Therefore, it is essential to develop the effective separation process for N2O recovery in both environmental and industrial aspects In this study, adsorption isotherms of N2O were measured on various adsorbents at elevated pressures (up to 10bar). Then, the breakthrough dynamics using selected adsorbent was analyzed to design the packed bed adsorptive cycle processes. |
