Recently, a variety of make-up cleansing and remover products have been released in the cosmetic markets. However, some of make-up remove products have a low detergency, skin irritation, oil residue feeling and formulation of stability problems[1]. This might be due to composition and structure of the formulation. In this study, liquid crystal formulations are prepared for the make-up removing effect using D-phase emulsification method[2,3]. Hexagonal. cubic, and lamellar phase in the formulations was identified by analysis of small angle X-ray scattering(SAXS)[4]. And, removing efficacy for liquid crystal formulation was determined using in -vivo method, respectively. As a result of the structure analysis and removing efficacy test, liquid crystal cleanser is the similar to more efficient formulation micelle make up remover. We expect that this liquid crystal formulation technology suggest way of new exterior differentiation and would be helpful for the cosmetic platform technology. |
