제목 | Organic Dye Based Conjugated Polymer with Low Band Gap for Organic Solar Cells |
초록 | Conjugated polymers with low band gap have been come into the spotlight for high performance of organic solar cells due to their broad absorption range in the visible and near-infrared region leading to high current density. Unfortunately, lowering band gap often lead to high HOMO level of the polymers, which makes lower open circuit voltage. In the molecular design of the polymers, lowering band gap keeping appropriate HOMO and LUMO levels should be considered. In this study, benzo[2,1-b:3,4-b`]dithiophene as a donor and iso-indigo as an acceptor were copolymerized by Stille coupling reaction. For solubility, two types of branched side chains were introduced to the donor and the acceptor, respectively. The synthesized polymer was characterized by 1H-NMR, GPC, UV-vis spectroscopy, cyclic voltammogram and etc. |
