제목 Fabrication of QDs-OLED cell using Si nanoparticles via Thermal Plasma Process
초록 We have prepared nano sized Si particles using thermal plasma process, and the particles were used for the fabrication of QDs-OLED (Quantum Dots Organic Light Emitting device) which can be characterized by the enhancement of luminance efficiency due to the quantum confinement effect. The Si particles were produced by gas phase decomposition of silane using thermal plasma, and the size of the particles was strongly dependent on the pressure, concentration, and flow rate. The Si nano particles were oxidized right after the deposition by thermal treatment under oxygen flow, which led to the formation of core and shell(Si/SiO2) structure. QDs-OLED cells were fabricated using the nano particles. The cells are consisted of ITO glass, HTL, QDs, ETL, and cathode, and the characteristics of EL device have been studied.
