Preparation of size tunable hydrophobically modified poly(γ-glutamic acid) nanoparticles and evaluation of activity as a vaccine adjuvant |
초록 |
We prepared size tunable amphiphilic poly(amino acid) nanoparticles (NPs) to evaluate the effects of particle size on dendritic cell (DC) uptake of NPs and their immune stimulatory activities as delivery carriers and adjuvants. The DC uptake of small-sized NPs was lower than the larger sized NPs, but the effect of DC activation by NPs was high in the small sizes. The result would provide guidelines for adjuvant design in the development of an effective vaccine. |
