Zinc oxide (ZnO) and Ag nanoparticles (NPs) were successfully prepared through a simple thermal reduction method. ZnO NPs were formed by using zinc(Ⅱ) isobutylcarbamate (Zn(IBC)2) at 120℃, Also Ag/ZnO NPs were formed by using silver 2-ethylhexylammoniumcarbamate (Ag-EHCB) and Zn(IBC)2 solution. Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) was used as stabilizer and ethanolamine was used as reductant, which suppressed aggregation of the ZnO, Ag/ZnO NPs. The structural and morphological properties of ZnO and Ag/ZnO NPs were characterized by UV-Vis, X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The sizes of Ag/ZnO NPs are in a range of 50-100nm, these particles are formed hybrid NPs. |
