Preparation of Silver Nanoparticle Doped Poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene) Thin Film and its Electrical Characterizations |

P(VDF-TrFE) is one of the most widely used ferroelectric copolymers due to its ferroelectricity at ambient temperature and a single crystalline modification. The associated properties such as piezoelectricity and pyroelectricity make it more popular in electronics applications. It, however, has some limitations due to quite low Curie transition temperature (Tc) and limited number of electrical dipoles due to the incorporation of TrFE units in PVDF. In this work, we address a possibility of further improvement of Tc and remanent polarization by a simple doping of silver nanoparticles. Our research trend indicates that it is possible to obtain very efficient non-volatile memory in near future.
