Effect of additive types on the crystal modifications of solution-cast film of P(VDF/HFP) (88/12) film using N,N-dimethylacetamide as a solvent |
초록 |
P(VDF/HFP)(88/12) copolymer does not exhibit Curie transition and its application temperature range is much higher than that of P(VDF/TrFE) and difficult to obtain β-crystal phase with very high VDF content through solution casting. P(VDF/HFP) in acetone and 2-butanone produced β-crystalline phase but surface topography is terribly bad since acetone and 2-butanone are poor solvents for P(VDF/HFP) with high VDF content. However, with N,N-dimethylacetamide as solvent, we were able to obtain least surface roughness and γ-crystal of small polarization is preferentially formed. For the application of P(VDF/HFP) film to the ferroelectric memory device, more β-crystal content is required and hence the addition of several types of onium salt and onium salt-modified clay were investigated.
