Synthesis of PU-inorganic composite and it`s properties |

Polyurethane has been known as a polymeric material that has high mechanical strength and has been widely used as adhesives. But it shows poor adhesive stability, especially at low temperature. As inorganic materials have been usually known to enhance thermal stability at low temperature, we prepared PU-inorganic composites for insulation materials. And we prepared composites with various content. Morphorlogy of cured matix was monitored by means of microscope, respectively. Mechanical properties such as tensile strength and elongation at break were measured by UTM. Rhological properties were measured by RMS. |
