Carbon Nanotubes Based Electrospun Nanoweb for Biochemical Sensors |

Nanowebs fabricated with nanofibers can be applied to a wide range of fields in Nanowebs fabricated with nanofibers have the huge bioengineering applications including drug release membrane, high efficiency filter media, protective clothing material, bio-transplant material and so on. Polymeric nanofibers containing carbon nanotubes were prepared by electrospinning to fabricate nanoweb electrode. Its electrical properties were estimated to develop biochemical sensors. The morphology and the fiber diameter were investigated by scanning electron microscopy and its electrical impedance properties were tested with LCR meter, respectively. The resistance and capacitance of nanoweb were rapidly changed after absorption with buffer solution. |
