Enhanced and sustained gene expression of Epstein-Barr virus-based plasmid with polyamidoamine dendrimer derivatives |

In this work, we made two kinds of recombinant DNA by inserting luciferase gene and eGFP gene as a report gene into the pCEP4 plasmid vector, respectively. We measured dynamic light scattering (DLS) and zeta potential after preparing the PAMAM-based cationic polymer/EBV-based plasmid complexes. The polyplexes were transfected in HEK 293 cell lines and monitored luciferase activity and green fluorescence protein (GFP) expression. We observed results of the enhanced and sustained gene expression in our PAMAM-based cationic polymer/EBV-based plasmid complexes system. |
