The development of conjugated polymers has been an area of extensive investigation, with bulk heterojunction polymer solar cell. Especially, the study of conjugation polymer containy electron donoracceptor pairs has become quite active. This is attributed to the nature of the chemical structure of the rigid backbone of PCPP intrinsically inhibits formation of the keto defects, which are mainly responsible for the degradation to green color emission in typical PF-type materials, thereby stabilizing the blue emission in the devices. New conjugated copolymers containing 4,4-bis(2-ethylhexyl)-4H-cyclopenta[def]phenanthrene (CPP), thiophene and benzimidazole were synthesized by palladium catalyzed stille coupling. The monomer ratio of CPP and benzimidazole fragments were 5:5, 3:7, 2:8, 1:9. |
