제목 Carbazole-based Host Materials for blue phosphorescent OLEDs
초록 Organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) have attracted considerable attention due to their many advantages for use in commercial applications, low power consumption, capability of emitting a wide range of colors, and applications in full color organic display. Development of blue light emitters is essential for exploiting full color displays. However, despite many relevant studies related to blue phosphorescent devices, attainment of high efficiency and long lifetime in blue phosphorescent devices is very difficult. Therefore, host materials typically require good compatibility in singlet and triplet energy levels with the neighboring auxiliary layers. And host materials should have good carrier transporting properties for improving the balance of electron and hole recombination within the emitting layer. In this study, we will demonstrate the synthesis of a series of host materials containing carbazole moieties and the examined their optical and photophysical properties.
