제목 Comparison of Fe-/ and Al-doping effects on phase transition and electrical properties in lead-free Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3–SrTiO3 piezoceramics
초록 This study investigated Fe-/ and Al-doping effects on phase transition and electrical properties in lead-free Bi1/2Na1/2TiO3-SrTiO3 (BNT-ST) piezoceramics. Ferroelectric-to-relaxor phase transition was induced by Fe-/or Al-doping that was evidenced by vanishing ferroelectric to relaxor phase transition temperature (TF-R). Interestingly, we found that the values of maximum polarization (Pmax), remanent polarization (Prem), and coercive field (Ec) in polarization curves and negative strain (Sneg) in bi-polar strain curves for Al-doped BNT-ST ceramics were drastically degraded with increasing Al content in comparison to Fe-doped BNT-ST ceramics. Accordingly, it seems that Al-doping more prominently promotes the ferroelectric-to-relaxor phase transition rather than Fe-doping. We suggest that the different phase transition behaviors in BNT-ST ceramics are originated from the different ionic radii between Al3+ and Fe3+ ions.
