제목 Recent Trend on Cathode Materials for High Energy Lithium Ion Batteries
초록 The Li-ion battery (LIB) is the most popular energy storage device in various applied categories including consumer electronics, automobile, and stationary energy storage. Among those applications, it is expected that an automobile industry will take over the driving force of expanding LIB market from consumer electronics near future. Although auto makers compete to develop various types of electric vehicles (HEVs, PHEVs, EV) with their own unique concept, yet all of them look for a longer driving range per charging of battery commonly. The energy of battery is a detrimental element of the driving range, which is dependent mainly on the cathode material used for the battery. In this work, it will be reviewed that the recent trend of research and development on high energy cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
