제목 Synthesis of Organic Donor-σ-Acceptor Molecules based-on 5,5'-(9,10-bis((4-hexylphenyl)ethynyl) anthracene-2,6-diyl)bis(ethyne-2,1-diyl)bis(2-hexylthiophene) for Optoelectronic Applications
초록 Donor and acceptor molecules that are combined to prepare donor-σ-acceptor (D-σ-A) molecules through the σ-bond are promising candidates for the construction of molecular rectifiers, programmable digital memory, and organic solar cells. In particular, there is much interest in the development of new organic switching materials that satisfy the requirements of non-volatile and volatile memory devices including electron donor/acceptor molecules and polymers. In this study, D-σ-A molecules containing perylene diimide (PDI) or [6,6]-phenyl C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) as electron acceptors and high mobility anthracene-based X-shaped molecule as an electron donor has been successfully synthesized by means of a simple esterification reaction. Energy transfer and electron transfer process in one molecule were investigated by means of absorption, photoluminescence spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry. We also investigated the possibility to apply them to memory device.
