OTFT have highly attracted research interests in recent years because it can resolve some problems faced in conventional TFT’s and it is possible to match the newly aroused demands in electronic devices. OTFT properties are significantly dependant on self-alignment and 3-dimensional structural ordering of the polymer molecules in the solid state, and so a large number of researches on the fabrication process have been carried out for the past decade. On the other hand, design and synthesis of new π-conjugated polymers for OTFT application has not been explored much, presumably due to the lack of synthetic methods, difficulty in purification, and so on. |
