제목 Biofuels Development Using Thermochemical Conversion  from Biomass
초록 This study was focused on a fuel characteristics of bio-oil from biomass by using fast pyrolysis to use transport fuels. Biomass fast pyrolysis is a novel and most effective method to convert biomass into liquid fuel with yields a high as 60% based on dry feed uses. In fast pyrolysis, bio-oil is produced by rapidly heating biomass to intermediate temperature (450 ~ 600 ℃) in the absence of any external oxygen followed by rapid quenching of the resulting vapor. Bio-oil has poor properties due to the complexity of composition of bio-oil so as to use effectively. Bio-oil fuel to produce by fast pyrolysis pilots on 1 ton/d scale(dry base biomass) was investigated components of bio-oil with TOF-MS with 2D GC. The bio-oil from biomass are different physiochemical properties from conventional fossil fuels on US and EN fuels specifications. After upgrading process, it was evaluated fuel physicohemical characteristics on Korea transport fuel specification level.
