제목 Mechanical Characterizations of Three Dimensional Porous Architecture Made of MoS2 Multi-layers Decorated Single-walled Carbon Nanotubes
초록 Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) having one-dimensional (1D) structure exhibits superior structural stability. Also, graphene-like 2D materials have been attracting a promising candidate for a wide range of application. Especially, few-layered molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanosheets composed of van der Waals force bonded S-Mo-S units has distinctive electronic, optical, and catalytic properties. In this study, we simply fabricated the lightweight porous architecture (aerogels) made of SWCNTs decorated with MoS2 multi-layers via the simple hydrothermal process. The surface morphology of the MoS2-SWCNT aerogels was characterized with field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The mechanical robustness and compressive elasticity were examined by measuring compressive stress as a function of compressive strain.
