제목 | Activated Graphene Microshperes with Superior Capacitive Properties for Supercapacitor Applications |
초록 | Graphene has been extensively studied as an electrode material for supercapacitors due to its high electric conductivity, large specific surface area, and excellent chemical/mechanical stability.1,2 Due to the 2D nature of the graphene sheet, however, it tends to easily restack to form lamellar microstructures on a current collector during electrode fabrication. Assemblies of graphene has been reported to convert 2D graphene sheets to a 3D structure in order to overcome problems associated with graphene restacking.3 Recent study showed that 3D structure of graphene could sustain its structure after being immersed in an electrolyte solution and was remarkably aggregation-resistant.4 In this study, we report on activated graphene microballs prepared by spray drying and activation processes. Activated graphene microballs exhibited a large surface area of 1440 m2 g-1 with a high specific capacitance of 254 F g-1 at 0.5 A g-1 and 226.7 F g-1 at 10 A g-1 in 1 M TEABF4/AN electrolyte. |
