Useful phospholipid-like surfactants with phosphate center, hydrophilic poly(ethylene glycol) group, and hydrophobic alkyl group were fabricated for water-soluble nanoparticle. The surfactants can disperse nanocrystals, such as quantum dots, metal nanoparticles, and metal oxdies nanoparticles in aqueous solution by mixing hydrophobic nanoparticles and the surfactants at room temperature. The reactants and synthetic process are facile and economical for scale production up. In the case of T98G cancer cells, the cytotoxicity indicated to no considerable toxicity. |
