With the invention of the organic semiconductor, many researchers are facing a new electronics revolution, commonly known as Organic Electronics, that has become possible due to the development and understanding of new organic conjugated materials. Although material and device in organic electronics are not currently suitable for high-end performance, the advantages in the low-cost manufacturing process make them ideal for large-area, flexible, transparent, and disposable electronic devices. In this research area, the development of conjugated polymers is one of the most attracting topics. These conjugated polymers are suitable for the active and interfacial layer of organic thin film transistor (OTFTs), organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), organic photovoltaic cells (OPVs), and organic memory devices. In this talk, we will discuss on material design and device characterizations in organic electronics such as OPVs and OTFTs. |
