제목 White OLEDs for Lighting applications
초록 For large are OLED lighting, transparent electrode with low sheet resistance is essential and transparent electrode with thin metal layer such as silver (Ag) is considered one of possible solution. However we need to optimize thicknesses of layers in OLED with considering optical and carrier transport properties in the same time due to micro-cavity effect. If there are some organic layers which barely affect carrier transport with thickness changes then device optimization may be easier. Moreover, this kind of organic layer can be also used to make thick OLED to increase production yield. In this presentation, OLED optimizations with the transparent electrode containing silver layer as well as a thickness insensitive organic layer for OLED lighting with large area and high production yield will be discussed in details.
