Porous polyethylene (PE) as a separator for vanadium redox flow battery |
초록 |
The main components in the vanadium redox flow battery is a membrane. The role of the membrane while preventing the positive and negative electrolytes are mixed, and to give it the ion conductivity that facilitates the movement of proton. However, crossover of vanadium ions, low chemical stability, high prices, has been an obstacle to the development of ion exchange membrane. In this study, using the commercial polyethylene separator (450μm) by trying to introduce the vanadium redox flow battery, we compared the performance as a separator. |
