제목 Ni perovskite entrapped SBA-15: An excellent precursor catalyst for hydrogen rich gas production from bio-alcohols (methanol, ethanol and glycerol) steam reforming
초록 In the recent years, the conversion of bio-alcohols into hydrogen rich gas is of great interest of the researchers worldwide. The extreme coke resistance Ni catalyst is essential for the successful commercialization of steam reforming (SR) process. The serious coking problem of Ni based catalysts in the steam reforming of bio-alcohols can be minimized by entrapping the Ni based perovskites into mesoporous SBA-15.  Ni perovskites successfully entrapped into SBA-15 by one pot triblock copolymer synthesis method. After the reduction, entrapped Ni perovskites will generate highly dispersed Ni nanoparticles over SBA-15 support. These Ni nanoparticle will have sufficient interaction with SBA-15 which in turn control the particle growth and dispersion of the Ni, eventually offers longer life time under SR conditions of bio-alcohols.
