MnO-carbon composites have received a considerable amount of attention due to their potential applications in batteries, supercapacitors, and electrochemical separation. When manganese oxide is deposited on carbon host including activated carbon, carbon nanotubes and mesoporous carbon, the performance for the energy storage is known to be improved due to the improvement of electrical conductivity as well as the decease of the ionic mass-transfer resistance. In this work, MnOx/carbon composites having high surface area were directly synthesized by spray pyrolysis with changing the Mn Content. The physical and electrochemical properties of the resulting powders were characterized by XRD, BET, SEM, TEM, CV, and EIS measurements. |
