Highly selectively ratiometric detection of Hg2+ ions in aqueous buffered solution by fluorescent probes based on the sulfonamide receptor using aggregation-induced emission |
초록 |
Ratiometric fluorescent chemosensors 1 and 2 were synthesized based on sulfonamide receptor for the metal ions using an aggregation induced emission fluorophore. 1 and 2 bearing cyanostilbene fluorophore showed high selectivity for Hg2+ ions among 16 metal ions in aqueous buffered solutions. The chemosensors complexed with Hg2+ ions and then aggregated in aqueous buffered solution, resulting in the significant red shift of emissions. The emission intensity ratio at 600 and 535 nm increased significantly with the increase of Hg2+ concentration (0‒4 equiv). The ratiometric response to Hg2+ was not interfered by other metal ions such as Cu2+, Cd2+ and Ag+. The chemosensors exhibited ratiometric response to Hg2+ in a wide range of pH values (pH 4.5–11.5). |
