제목 Wide Band Gap Donor Material with Low Cost for Realizing Polymer Solar Cells
초록 The commercialization of polymer solar cells (PSCs) requires high efficiency, high stability and low cost devices. Lately, donor polymer based on PSCs consisting of fullerene and non-fullerene acceptors have been reported to exhibit high power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of greater than over 11-13%. However the most of D-A combination with high performance has a lack of scalability and reliability in parts of synthesis steps, overall yield and cost of raw materials. Here we designed and synthesized high performance D-A donor polymer via only one-step reaction from cheap raw materials. So far it was confirmed a necessary to control the shape and length of alkyl side chain in this polymer backbone in order to reach high PCEs. We believe that this type of polymer will be a promising donor for commercial application of PSCs.
